Playing in a league is a lot of fun and it's an essential part of your growth as a tennis player. The Flagstaff Tennis Program now offers organized league play for three different levels of player. There are two junior leagues - one for high school and elite middle school players, and one for advanced elementary school and middle school players. There is also an adult league for intermediate players.
All leagues are held on the city courts - either Thorpe Park or the Hal Jensen Recreation Center. There are two seasons for league play; fall (late August to mid October) and spring (mid April to late May). Junior leagues feature a team format that is similar to the format used for high school and college matches.
We are hoping to expand the leagues to include more levels in the future, be sure to check back to see if there is a spot for you. Or better yet, contact us to find out more.
Due to the iffy timing of the expected rain, I am delaying the decision about whether we are playing until a little after 9:00. I will send out a text to let you know either way. If you don't receive a text by 9:15 please contact me.
