Playing in a league is a lot of fun and it's an essential part of your growth as a tennis player. The Flagstaff Tennis Program now offers organized league play for three different levels of player. There are two junior leagues - one for high school and elite middle school players, and one for advanced elementary school and middle school players. There is also an adult league for intermediate players.
All leagues are held on the city courts - either Thorpe Park or the Hal Jensen Recreation Center. There are two seasons for league play; fall (late August to mid October) and spring (mid April to late May). Junior leagues feature a team format that is similar to the format used for high school and college matches.
We are hoping to expand the leagues to include more levels in the future, be sure to check back to see if there is a spot for you. Or better yet, contact us to find out more.
We are currently forming leagues for the fall 2019 season. There will be two junior leagues (high school and pre-high school) and one adult league. League play will start the week of August 26th and will run through mid-October. The pre-high school league will meet on Mondays (4ish-6ish), the high school league will meet on Wednesdays (4ish-6ish) and the adult league will meet on Saturdays 10:00-noon. Some of the details are still to be determined, feel free to contact us if you have questions.
